20 years of fundamental research on long distance “Power Line Communication” has lead to a very robust and reliable “Power Line Carrier” and is successfully installed in different market segments. Street lighting is one of the market segments with superior benefits compared to other communication platforms.
A special PLC protocol is developed with very low overheads in the protocol to gain the maximum data throughput and reliable communication speed (very important for PLC communication).
